Here are a few pointers, should you encounter any difficulties along the way...
How can I get the most out of the Home School of Art?
Our aim is to get you started and keep you going. For this reason we've created a series of helpful, thoughtful articles around art and childhood education (we highly recommend joining our email list). In addition, all the resources we've published here fit into a rich life of parenting and/or homeschooling. If you're struggling with a clear or confident place to start, we'd recommend going for a bundle deal, to get a sturdy foundation to build on.
Where are the video lessons?
All video courses are hosted right here on our courses portal. The system will save your progress, so you can pick up where you left off, or dip back into any video as you choose. You can also discover other courses there. HELPFUL TIP: You should save this link on the device you'll use to watch the videos (on Android or iPhone you can use the browser menu to add the Home School of Art to your home screen).
My downloads came as a .zip file - what do I do with it?
Zip files compress file sizes for more efficient downloads. Once you've got the file, your computer or phone will have an "extract", "upzip" or "uncompress" menu item. Choose where you want the unzipped files to save to.
Materials
In time we will share some tips and guidance on quality and where to buy things. We do not provide art supplies. Video lessons each start with a list of what you'll need to supply. Printables require access to a home or retail printing facility, and whatever medium you have you hand - pencils, crayons, etc.
Licencing and Sharing
Your downloads and video lessons are licensed for private household use only. Please don't distribute or reproduce the files beyond your own personal storage and backups. For any public use or school use, please get in touch.
